Come spend a weekend surrounded by nature! We’ll hike through the beautiful Bodetal, visit the Roßtrappe, and explore the Hexentanzplatz. Along the way, we’ll spot local wildlife, check out plants, and soak up some amazing views. Feeling adventurous? You can even try the summer toboggan run at Hexentanzplatz. This is your chance to discover the Harz, take a break from everyday life, and enjoy a few days outdoors.
Our acommodation: Forsthaus Eggerode
We’ll be staying in four cozy group houses (more information on the houses here), with space for about 20 people in total. We’ll decide together who sleeps where. If you’re coming with a small group (up to 6 people) and want to stay together, you can let us know when you register. Each house has:
- Dorm-style bedrooms: Ground floor with 4 beds, upstairs with 2 beds
- Living kitchen: comfy seating and fully equipped kitchen for self-catering
- Shower & toilet in the house
We’ll take care of shopping, cooking, and meals ourselves in small house teams :)
Getting there:
- Group travel: Meet at 13:50 in Magdeburg, train RE11 departs 14:08 to Thale
- Independent travel: Meet at 15:45 at Thale train station
Leaving:
- Sunday 13:15 from Thale train station, arriving in Magdeburg around 14:47
- Independent departure also possible
Weekend Plan:
- Friday: Arrive, get to know each other, sort out who sleeps where, do a quick shop in Thale, walk to the accommodation, settle in, dinner, and relax for the evening
- Saturday: Main hike through the Bodetal to Treseburg and onward to Hexentanzplatz, small nature activities along the way, maybe ride the summer toboggan run back, dinner at the house, fun game night
